Dogs care primarily needs to be focussed on making it do exercise consistently in order to keep fit, energetic and fresh.

The first question that strikes our mind in this context is how much of it is required every day. Obviously it is relative to its size and breed.

Those concerned with dog care should always remember that dogs with smaller breeds are more agile and full of vigour than those of bigger breeds like Jack Russell Terriers compared to St. Bernards.

Dog needs different sort of exercises to tone up different parts of its body. We may enjoy soft and grassy surface while on walking but dogs required keeping their nails short and this could be achieved by letting them walk a bit on hard ground.

Dogs care demands you to be very meticulous in planning exercise programme for them. It should not be too rigorous for tinier pups that are in formative stage of their lives. The famous proverb is fit to quote here that slowly and steady wins the race.

Exercise stress could be gradually increased as the dogs mature. But there are certain dogs that take time to attain maturity so more dogs care is required in their case.

Taking dogs out on a walk is not only beneficial to their physical fitness but also for their behavioural customisation. Outing brings them in contact with other breeds as much as to different surroundings which require them to react more seemingly. If no outing is provided they might receive shock at sudden encounters with those breeds and set ups and eventually cause or receive damages.

Dogs care programme needs to include supervising strategy on dogs while engaged in exercise. If dogs are left unattended they carry the risk to over-do the exercises or miss-do them resulting in health problems. On the contrary if no exercise is done they might put on fat and make them lazy.

If you want to make exercise a fun for your dogs then plan some games and play with them. Be careful to keep them within control as they tend to do roughly and harshly. Best advice is that you act as a guide deciding when to begin and when to end. You may let them play with the toys of their choice provided that these toys do not involve risk of injury. They need to be made of elastic material easy to handle and safe. Wooden sticks and stones should be avoided.

Dogs enjoy very much when play with good, lasting and chemical safe chewy toys which keep them amusing for longer span of time and refreshes them when feeling fed up of loneliness. Even toys stuffed with their favourite bites might be good mind teasers for them which sustain their interest and keep them fresh.
